Vonis, 15 years for Ba'asyir
Abu Bakar Ba'asyir, finally sentenced 15 years in prison by the presiding judge of South Jakarta District Court in the case of the involvement of military training in Aceh. The trial runs for five hours since the last at 09.00 am.
The verdict was much lighter than the Public Prosecutor demands life sentence for involvement in terrorism. Hearing the verdict read by the judges
Chief Judge, Harry Swantoro, lawyers immediately said Ba'asyir appeal.
